Philipp Bergau grew up as an ordinary Berlin city boy with no intention living in the outdoors. A decent education, a study after that, then working as an event lighting technician- that was the plan. But 10 years ago, it all changed when he got his first sleddog out of a dog shelter. Since then it was a constant improvement from city life, to a cabin in the woods of Germany, to 4 years of guiding people in northern Sweden. And finally, coming up to Svalbard with 5 of his own bred dogs. During all this time he learned allot from different people/musher and he did read all he could. The rest of the time he spent on multiple week hikes during summer and on the sled and skis during winter time.

Now he and his 8 Alaskan Malamutes are living between Åre and Svalbard

Join us for a day or multiple week hike along the northern Kungsleden trail.

We are joined by a big, happy and loveable sled dog who carries his own supplies and provides good company on our trip.
We customise the trip according to your fitness level and your personal interest. Whether you prefer the flat tundra or want to climb as many mountain tops around a certain area as possible, we adapt the groups´ trip to your preferences!
The summers in Sweden are as magnificent as the winters. The reindeers are grazing on the mountain sides and valleys, birds and other wild life can be seen, and beautiful flowers are growing in the midnight sun as fast as they can in their short time before winter arrives again and covers the colourful landscape in white.
Spectacular views will follow us through the beautifully wild landscape.
